On Friday, January 10, 2025 all are welcome at the heART of the City art and fashion show at Whittier Middle School from 5:00-7:30pm. Voting runs from 5:00-6:30, Fashion show begins at 6:30 with awards immediately following. For this year’s event, creative teams and individual artists of all ages and disciplines from across Sioux Falls are displaying 2D, 3D and wearable art made from found objects, recyclables, and mixed media. This year’s theme is “LOVE!” Art Juried by local creative, Sarah Larson, and Artist, Erik Ritter, along with people’s choice awards. The event is held at the historic Whittier Middle School in Sioux Falls- use the Fairfax Avenue entrance.
