Breakthrough ‘25 — An Emerging Artist Showcase

Shining a light on the next era of local visual artists

Artists on the rise need a platform worthy of their skillful ability to create beauty. In partnership with the Washington Pavilion, Sioux Falls Stage & Gallery presents Breakthrough ’25, a showcase of Sioux Falls emerging artists in one of the city’s premier visual arts venues, the Everist Gallery. All emerging artists who have never previously had a solo exhibition in the Pavilion’s Visual Arts Center and who live within a 10-mile radius of the city limits of Sioux Falls were encouraged to enter.

How it Works:

The exhibition is on display in the Washington Pavilion Visual Arts Center Sept. 20 thru Nov. 30, 2025. The Thursday, Oct. 9, opening event included an adjudication, live entertainment from Ben Gertner and cash prizes for selected exhibiting artists.
